| The NST2036#XR360 Black&Decker 36 volt2.4 amp hour Nicad battery pack is performing as expected, It charges within 4 to 6 hours if not completely depleted.When depleted it usually takes approx. 8 hours to recharge.unless your use to lifting heavy objects,the battery along with the trimmer can be cumbersome. The harness strap that is attached to the trimmer should be used. It gives you the power of a gas trimmer just as the manufacturer states. If you have a fairly large piece of property to trim I recommend a second battery. |

| Very expensive product. Does give ample power. I can only get my batteries to run for about 15-20 minutes before they need another 8 plus hour recharge. So if you need more than 20 minutes power, or need to recharge before 8 hours....stay away. Stick with gas products for now. |

| 30% less expensive than buying from the manufacturer, the only other place I could find this battery. |

| Owners of Black & Decker Heavy-Duty 36-Volt Cordless Electric String Trimmer #NST2036 should immediately buy one of these batteries if they want to get any sort of life out of their product. Until B&D decide to go with a better battery technology, this is the only thing we've got. |

| For yard work, a 2nd battery is recommended. Work time is 15-20 min if running all the time. Longer if you do not get the batter so hot during hard use. I've found once the batter got off it's peak, notable rpm loss in edger, just let it sit and cool and it will operate longer and peak power will return for a little while. |
